Options Information Evening – Tuesday 3rd of February 2026
As listed in our parent calendar, issued at the start of session, I am delighted to invite you to our Options Evening on Tuesday the 3rd of February 2026.
The evening will give you the opportunity to meet with the Senior Leadership Team who will talk through this year’s options process. Our subject specialists will also be available to answer any questions you may have about courses or qualifications and advise you on the demands and expectations in each subject area. We will also have representatives from College, Universities, and other partners to discuss post school opportunities.
To facilitate the different needs of the Broad General Education Phase and the Senior Phase, the evening will be split into two parts.
Parents and Carers of S2 pupils are invited to join us at the following times:
6:00 pm – 6:30 pm – Presentation by Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in the Assembly Hall
6:30 pm – 7:00 pm – Meet with subject specialists in the Canteen/ Café and Foyer
Parents and Carers of S4 and S5 pupils are invited to join us at the following times:
6:45 pm – 7:15 pm – Presentation by SLT in the Assembly Hall
7:15 pm – 7:45 pm – Meet with subject specialists in the Canteen/ Café and Foyer
I look forward to welcoming you on the 3rd of February to Johnstone High School. Should you be unable to attend the evening, presentations and options information will be placed on our website in due course.
Please note that S3 pupils will continue with their current options and parents / carers of S3 pupils should not feel they have to attend this event.
